Termagent A short looping film that takes the viewer through a tumultuous journey of internal exploration and introspection. This short scratch film builds on my experiments with direct film animation. Using a combination of sand paper, steel wool, X-Acto knifes, and bleach to degrade the base layer of black celluloid film. Then through editing, creating a short looping film that takes the viewer through a tumultuous journey of internal exploration and introspection. Watch it looping and get lost in the flashes of black and white. This piece is hopefully just the beginning of my exploration of scratch film and flicker films. Samples of films used.
